Labour Economist focusing on the impacts of immigration and why people move
Marianne Røed has a PhD from the Economics department at the University of Oslo (2001). In general she works with empirical research on labour market issues.
During the last years she has directed her research interest towards international migration. The economic integration of immigrants, how immigration affect the outcome of natives in the labour market of receiving countries and what explains the levels and directions of international migration flows? These are all topics she has analysed during the last years.
