Sociologist with an interest in health and social inequality

Miriam Evensen holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Her research focuses on childhood conditions, mental problems among children and adolescents and social inequality in health, education and employment. Her work has been published in international journals, such as the European Sociological Review, BMC Medicine and the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.
