Societal Security and Preparedness
Research-based knowledge about public and governmental preparedness is a condition of a secure and sustainable society. Our research contributes by, for example, studying the correspondence between public and government expectations.
The current international situation – with less stability, hybrid threats and a new security policy landscape – poses new challenges and demands in terms of preparedness and societal security. Our research on public preparedness, willingness and perception of potential threats and crises as well as government policy and communication, contributes insight and knowledge about their correlation and the nation's overall preparedness and expectations.
