In this project, we will take an in-depth look at the work of developing an indicator to measure work of equal value at the national level, across employers and occupations.
Equal pay for work of equal value is of great interest, both in research and in policymaking, yet there is currently no agreed-upon method for measuring work of equal value. We therefore explore the possibilities for measuring this, building on the work carried out for the report “Unequal Pay for Equal Work? Wage Differences Between Women and Men, 2015–2022”.
