Sociologist with interest in migration, inequality, and discrimination.

Edvard Nergård Larsen holds a PhD in sociology from the University of Oslo and has also served as a postdoctoral fellow there. His research focuses on inequality in the labor market, with a particular emphasis on discrimination in hiring processes, both in Norway and internationally.

Previously, Larsen has conducted research on discrimination based on gender, ethnicity/migration background, and religious affiliation in the labor market through field experiments. He has also worked with registry data and researched how organizations shape social inequality and inclusion of immigrants and their descendants.
