Ingrid H.G. Østensen assists the research environment at ISF in the areas of privacy and research ethics. She also works with ISF's administration and management to ensure that ISF complies with the requirements set by external parties, including the Personal Data Act, financiers, and data owners. She is the administrative contact point for: The Norwegian Data Protection Authority (DPA), Sikt / Data Protection Officer and access to information cases.
She has experience from research administration, but has also had other roles in research projects. Previously, she has worked at the BI Norwegian Business School, the Cancer Registry, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and the Tumor Biology department at Radiumhospitalet.
