Due Diligence Assessment

Act relating to enterprises' transparency and work on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions (Transparency Act) came into effect on July 1, 2022. Among other things, the law requires enterprises to carry out so-called Due Diligence Assessments to understand the risk of potential violations – and implement measures where necessary. Furthermore, the enterprise has a duty to inform about what has been taken into account in the Due Diligence Assessments and the results of these.

In accordance with the provisions of the Transparency Act, the Institute for Social Research has conducted a Due Diligence Assessment (pdf in Norwegian).

The Due Diligence Assessment is updated as of June 2024.
