Ongoing project

Wage- and career development among highly educated workers in Norway, 2015-2022

In this project, we analyze the wage trajectories for researchers and other highly educated workers in the Norwegian labor market.

Project period May 2022–January 2023
Project nr. 10731
Project leader Kari Vea Salvanes

We update and expand the analysis from the report Wage and career developments among the highly educated in Norway, 2004-2019, with additional years (2015-2022).

The main objective of the project is to analyze the career- and wage development among researchers and to compare this with non-researchers. In addition to an update, this project will expand the sample with employees within archive, library and the museum sectors, and expand the wage comparisons with industrial blue-collar workers and industrial white-collar workers.
