The project is part of CORE – Centre for Research on Gender Equality.
Central questions answered in the project are:
- What does research show about the effects of various legal requirements and measures that have been implemented to achieve gender balance on boards and at management level?
- Which legal requirements and measures have had the intended effect, and why? And which have not had the intended effect, and why?
- What does research show about what creates gender balance, and what barriers exist?
- What does research show about recruitment to boards and company management? Who is recruited, and why?
The project describes existing research that can shed light on these questions.
