Research professor and Centre Director at Institute for social research

Mari Teigen is head of CORE – Centre for Research on Gender Equality and NORDICORE – Centre for Research on Gender Equality in Research and Innovation. Her research engages with change and stability in gender relations, through analysis of gender equality policy; social elites, gender segregation in the labour market and in academia.

Teigen is co-editor and member of editorial board of Nordic Journal of Working-Life Studies and Comparative Social Research. Teigen serves on several boards such as the board of the Research Council of Norway for Humanities and the Social Sciences and National Reference Group, Horizon Europe (Cluster 2).
